On sale 1959 Lotus 17.
The Lotus 17 was designed and built in 1959 to compete with the Lola Mk. I, which had been beating the, then-current, Lotus 11.
It emerged as a very successful Sports-racer after a re-design of the suspension produced the Mk. 11.
This is a late Mk. 17 and is very competitive in its class, having won first overall in the Endurance Championship (Group 4) in 1997 with SVRA.
It was also awarded Ken Miles Award in 1999 at the Monterey Historics. It was raced in U.S. by John Weinberger and Rick Crouch.
